Michigan Bill of Sale

While not absolutely necessary in the sale of a vehicle, a bill of sale can act as a second form of proof that a transaction took place. Of course, a bill of sale cannot substitute the car title in importance or function, but it can show that both parties agreed to the terms of the transaction. To do so, it is required that these documents feature a number of important elements, such as the addresses, the names and the signatures of the buyer and seller. It must also have a description of the vehicle that is being sold and the final selling price as well.
